Newfoundland and LabradorAssociation of Insolvency & Restructuring Professionals
The Newfoundland and Labrador Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals is comprised of CIRP-designated Licensed Insolvency Trustees who strive to help individuals and businesses throughout Newfoundland and Labrador who are facing financial difficulties. Our members are licensed and regulated by the Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy, under the federal Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act. NLAIRP was established in 1981 to represent the distinct interests of Newfoundland and Labrador-located CIRP/LITs and debtors.
By working in conjunction with our national association, the Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals (CAIRP), the NLAIRP both supports and represents its members to ensure they are recognized as the preeminent professionals in insolvency and restructuring matters in Newfoundland and Labrador.
Our Mission
- Support our members in providing insolvency and restructuring services in a manner that instils the highest degree of public trust;
- Advocate on behalf of our members on issues of local and provincial interest; and
- Advocate for a fair, transparent and effective system of insolvency and restructuring administration throughout Newfoundland and Labrador.
